Waller lifts Zimbabwe to 131

In a one man innings, Malcolm Waller hit half a dozen sixes to lift Zimbabwe to a fighting total of 131 against Bangladesh in the first T20, in what seems to be a bowling friendly wicket.
Bangladesh had won the three ODI’s batting first, but here Mashrafe chose to field, on a relatively pacer friendly pitch. He himself vindicated his decision by picking up two wickets in his first 2 overs, while Al Amin too picked up a wicket in his first over.
Williams and Ervine built a steady partnership, but Williams played a poor shot to be bowled off Nasir. Waller played a mind blowing innings, smashing Nasir and Jubair all over the park.
He scored at a blistering rate, and transformed Zimbabwe’s innings in 2 overs. Those 2 overs went for 37 expensive runs. Waller brought up his maiden fifty off just 20 balls. His partner Craig Ervine scored 20 valuable runs before falling to Mahmudullah.
Jubair came back from his shock first over to pick up 2 wickets in one over. Mustafiz came back and picked up the prized wicket of Waller, whip scored a breathtaking 31-ball 68.
Al-Amin assisted him in cleaning up the tail, as Zimbabwe was bundled out for 131. Without Waller, the runs could have been much lesser.
